The latest twist to hit the onsen (hot springs) world is the
"omiai onsen"
. At these onsens, women have the option of opening a secret door and peering into the men's bathing area, with an eye toward finding her future husband. No, I'm not making this up.

In this week's cow tales, we find out why Liechtenstein milk farmers are up in arms over the banning of hemp as feed for their cows. They argue that a happy cow makes the best milk, and who can really argue with that?

Apparently, some public school teachers in South Korea are encouraging their kids to draw
anti-Japan posters
, and they are being exhibited in the Seoul subway system:
